An eSIM, or Embedded SIM, is a digital SIM card that is pre-installed in your device and allows you to activate a mobile data plan from your network provider without the need for a physical SIM card.
It connects you to any operator offering eSIM services and works in a similar way to a traditional SIM card. The major difference is that you don’t need a physical SIM card to use it.
To activate an eSIM, you can easily install the “eSIM profile” of a new operator onto your device, this profile contains the necessary information for your device to connect to the operator’s network, it is a simple and easy process, usually done via a QR code or an app provided by the operator.

To use an eSIM, your mobile phone must be a newer model that has the eSIM technology embedded within its hardware.

- Select your eSIM data plan duration and country coverage required.
- After purchasing your eSIM plan, FlexeSIM will email you an eSIM activation code and a QR code. To activate your plan, you can either click on the code in the email or scan the QR code with your phone’s camera. This will confirm the activation of your plan on your device. The process is simple and easy, no need to wait for a physical SIM card to be delivered or wait in line to activate it, everything is done digitally.
